next

The next 22 year old who tells me they're "getting old" is going to get a smack.

I'm just saying.

I turn 46 in July. I guess I'm a fossil.

you are also qualifying for a smack! the motto is "you're only as old as you feel. and you should refuse to feel old!" no one under the age of 87 gets to be old.

Wow, what a story, sirlarkins! Reminds me of the time a first grade teacher came to me and said she had a mess in her bathroom (each 1st grade room has a small one) and that the boy who made it was to help me clean it up. Well, it turned out his mother gave him a suppository, THEN SENT HIM OFF TO SCHOOL! The toilet - inside and out - was covered with shit and the entire bathroom floor and the walls halfway up were covered with shit splatters. What was going through his mother's mind when she sent him to school, I'll never know. Well, yes...I guess I DO know: she knew what was going to happen, so why not send him to school and let the custodian handle it.

I'm clearly getting old, even though a mere 35 years of age: I'm catching myself saying crap my parents said when I was a kid.
