My grandmother's been in the home country since November. But she came home yesterday. And being the good granddaughter that I am, I called her this afternoon from my office to say hi.
During the course of the conversation, an earthquake rolled through. Small for us, the epicenter was far away. Only one other person in the building felt it!
So I'm chatting away, "blah, blah, blah, hey that was an earthquake! blah blah blah." I got off the phone and asked around. Literally only one other person in the building felt the quake!
They only believed me when the story showed up on the frontpage news at Yahoo!
