I am a buddhist, although not of the Tibetan varietal.
I admire the Dalai Lama in so many ways. I met him once at a lecture at UCSB so many years ago, but it is an experience one never forgets.
There ARE people that just exude a spiritual power that is undefinable yet detectable. Call it an energy if you will....but you do feel like you are in the presence of a power greater than all when you are in the presense of the Dalai Lama.
