Books vs. Goons
Salman Rushdie has a wonderful editorial in today's LA Times about the power of books to move people.
This weekend was the LA Times Festival of Books at UCLA. Every year I plan to attend. And every year I skip it.
Instead I spend the weekend curled up with a good book. Or two.
