I'm back!

Did you miss me?
I went on a sort of working vacation. I spent 11 days in NYC.
The first few days were at Book Expo. Which did not make my head explode. It was my second Expo. So much fun and beyond exhausting. I got Barbara Boxer's autograph and got to tell her how cool I think she is. I got a lot of free advance reader copies of books and a lot of autographs.
Yeah, I'm a total book geek.

I spent a few days with my Grandmother and one of my Uncles out on Long Island. Which also did not make my head explode. They were super wonderful and we had a marvelous time, even when I got sick.

Went back into New York City on Thursday to stay with my oldest friend in the world and her family. Whom I also love. They didn't make my head explode either. She has a cute 13 month old.

I saw Spamalot Thursday night. Super funny, witty and amusing. A must see for all. In fact, I must see it again.

I came home yesterday. A long flight and I'm really tired. And my cold isn't getting better. I'm at the stage where I can't taste anything.

Back to work tomorrow.
I'm sure my head will start exploding again. And a more comprehensive write up when I'm back to fighting shape.

Rest up. An exploding head can take a lot out of a person.

t- thanks for the good thoughts. i thought i might have computer access while i was gone, but it was not to be. i looked in a couple times, but it was too fleeting to be substantive. and to tell you the truth, i was so removed from real life that i had nothing to blog about.
have a great time in myrtle beach.

ntodd- it's not so much the exploding head i'm concerned about, it's the consumptive cough. seriously, my staff is asking if i got tb while i was gone. and i'm not sure they were kidding. you had some seriously beautiful pictures on your page. i'm saving up.
