campaign call

So, I just got a phone call from the DCCC asking for money.
The caller starts off by telling me how dedicated the DCCC is to returning the House to a democratic majority next year and how my contribution would be a big help.
So I asked her, "if retaking a Democratic majority is so important, what has the DCCC done to support and assist Paul Hackett for next week? After all, he is running in the special election in the OH 2nd next week. "
The answer I got? "Well, the DCCC is more about educating candidates."
I politely pointed out to her that I've made my donation for this week to the Hackett campaign.
From her end, "huh, well, good bye then."

I'm looking at the DCCC's website. You know what their stated goal is? I quote:

"The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) serves as the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with recruiting, assisting, funding, and electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. We provide services ranging from designing and helping execute field operations, to polling, creating radio and television commercials, fundraising, communications, and management consulting."

Emphasis mine.
Where's the support for Hackett? No where on the website that I can see.

If you've got some spare money, donate to the Hackett campaign. He needs and deserves our support.

Paul Hackett for Congress, Ohio, District 2

You'll want to see this. The DCCC has been flying under the radar for strategic reasons, but now they're out in the open...
