yeah, but he also said Iraq had WMDs, so he's not really well known for telling the truth, is he?

Bush Declares: 'We Do Not Torture'

Mr.Veracity's at it again, I see. You know, at the rate he's going no one in the entire world is going to believe a word we say. Can you imagine what the audience was thinking when this came out of his mouth? I bet there was loads of eye rolling.

I was reading a column today in my local newspaper about how the Bush administration continually campaigns over and over and over again (i.e: how well the war in Iraq is going, Social Security reform, fighting terrorism, etc...) because CONVINCING the public of these things or how wonderful these plans are IS EASIER THAN REALLY DOING IT!
But when Katrina hit, so did reality. And the general public finally saw what many of us knew all along: how incompetant the administration was.

I don't know who's column it was. My wife is at work and took the paper with her, so I don't have it with me.

If "we don't believe in torture" then why does the CIA have secret (no more) detention camps in various countries that look the other way on torture issues? And why did Cheney want to strip the teeth from an anti torture bill sponsored by John McCain? This mis administration not believing in torture?... yea right

The assminstration is made up of liars. I think that's all we need to say. Have you heard about the U.S. using chemical weapons against civilians? Yup, that's the latest to come out. Randi Rhodes has been talking about it today. It's horrible and evil.

It was white phosphorus or Willey Pete as the military calls it that burns flesh down to the bone. The military contends that it was used to illuminate combat areas. Why would this be if they have night vision and boast of controling the night? More information go to:
