the sevens and the fours

Seven things to do before I die:
Visit Greece.
Visit Rome.
Visit the Great Wall of China.
Visit Australia.
Visit the Pyramids.
Visit Brazil.
Visit South India.

Seven things I can not do:
Lie convincingly.
Get rid of a book.
Eat baby animals (no veal, no lamb and no caviar.)
Take unwarrented criticism.
Wait to the last minute for deadlines.
Work from an outline.
Finish art projects in a timely manner.

Seven reasons why I blog.
To share what most bothers me.
To attempt some humor.
All the cool kids are doing it.
To share my hatred of Bush.
To have all my favorite blogs linked in one place.
Keeps me from having to talk to the wingnuts.
Helps to keep the brain active.

Seven things I say most often:
Oh, for Dod's sake!
Have you met me before?
Don't make me have to hurt you.
Oh, get over yourself!
Was I just invisible?
no touchee!
Oh bite me.

Seven books I love.
All the Harry Potters
The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery
A House Like A Lotus by Madeline L'Engle
A Ring Of Endless Night by Madeline L'Engle
Anything by Gerald Durrell, but especially My Family and Other Animals

Seven movies I watch over and over again:

I'm passing the fours back to MarkH. and letting T, Chuck and Demeur choose to do either or both.

And just for that, I'm tagging you with the 4s, Brian.

Nice answers, shayera!
The places to visit before you die? Unless I suddenly come into a lot of money, I'd be thrilled to visit just one of the places you listed someday. Too many financial obligations.
I can't do the sevens. There's just some categories I can't give seven answers to.
I can do all but one of the fours:

-church custodian
-school custodian

-Star Trek movies I, II, III, IV, VI, VII, VIII, and X.
-The Pink Panther Strikes Again
-The Time Machine (1960 version)
-My Cousin Vinny

Four TV shows you love to watch:
-Star Trek TOS, TNG, DS9 and VOY.
-All in the Family
-Futurama
-MXC (heh-heh!)

Four places you've been on vacation:
-throughout the American Rockies
-Orange Beach, Alabama
-Myrtle Beach, S.C.
-Bar Harbor, Maine

Four websites you visit daily:
-eBay
-weather.com
-Google earth
-the New Republic

Four of your favorite foods:

Grandma got run over by a reindeer."

That atrocious song was singled out by you on another blog, for special scorn. May I assent.

Even the most adamantine pro-choice advocates, were they judicious, would have to admit suchaesthetic abortions, like that aweful song, have no real place in a free, but well governed society.

You may be interested to find out what Bush 'told' S. McClellan about the holidays when he got grief. Stop by our blog, you may laugh. You may not. We shall see.

Sorry I tried posting "the 4s" but they got lost in cyberspace. I'll do a quick "1s" cause the rest aren't that important. Chocolate, The Simpsons, Atlanta, near Seattle,B3,Hazwoper,Groundhog day. I'll let you figure out which one is which.

Interesting concept for a post. If I were tagged for something like this, it would make people run in the opposite direction and fetch a straight jacket for me.
