There's no possible way in the world I believe this.

A Humbled Presidency

I saw this at Shakespeare's Sister and wanted to comment on it here.
Here's the quote from the article:

Maybe it was the influence of his wife, Laura, a former librarian, or his mother, Barbara, a longtime promoter of literacy. Or perhaps he was just eager to dispel his image as an intellectual lightweight. But President Bush now wants it known that he is a man of letters. In fact, Bush has entered a book-reading competition with Karl Rove, his political adviser. White House aides say the president has read 60 books so far this year (while the brainy Rove, to Bush's competitive delight, has racked up only 50). The commander in chief delved into three volumes in August alone-two on Abraham Lincoln and, more surprising for a man of unambiguous convictions, The Stranger, Albert Camus's existential tale of murder and alienation.

Emphasis mine.
There is no possible way in the world Bush has read 60 books this year. No way.
Not even if they were comic books would I believe this.

I, who am surrounded all day every day by books, have not read 60 books this year. And, other than my job, I don't really have that many responsibilities. Cleaning the apartment and cooking doesn't count.
But isn't old Bushie supposed to be running a country? As well as two wars?
There's no possible way in the world he's read 60 books this year. A flat out lie.

Of course its ridiculous. Why do they even publicize this shit? It certainly doesn't help him in anyway. He acts like a three year old that craves attention. You've probably seen the "Is bush An Idiot?" videos on YouTube by now. That's the real bush.

Yup, I saw the Bush is an idiot video. Cracked me up!
I can't tell you how angry that mediocre lie made me. I'm still steaming about it today. He spends 5 years claiming to be "a man of the simple people" but now all of a sudden he's an intellectual genius. Makes me sick.

Makes me wonder how many wings his Daddy had to buy at Yale for George to graduate. No one I know who is that inarticulate made it through college.

Hell, Demeur, don't you think that his daddy and grandaddy paid to have the entire campus redone before Yale accepted this boob? I think that Yale left the outsides untouched and redid all the interiors of every building.
