my absurd life

A few years ago I'd had one disasterous date with a guy. And, unfortunately, I still run across him in meetings and things. I've been pretty clear that I'm not interested in any sort of a relationship with him.
So today, he pulls me aside in a meeting and says that he thinks that there could be something between us, and that he would really like a chance to prove that we've be great together.
Seriously. I've got nothing in common with this guy. He was afraid he'd find pot roast spicy. Pot roast.
He's born and brought up in L.A. and didn't know how to get to the restaurant. Which was two miles from his office.
He was late for the date.
I've been very clear that I wasn't interested.
And now he "wants to start something together with you."
Ack!

LOL! Then you're definitely too spicy for him, S! ;-)

lol. My friends, who also know the guy in question, are aghast at the fact that he tried this. Let's just say my opinion of him is not high. And that's being generous.
And I hate his work ethic. Which really doesn't help his case.
