By the way, you remember that story about the House having Monday off for football? Well, turns out the story failed to include the part about Monday being given so that Congresspeople could read the proposed legislation coming to the floor. You remember how the Republicans would present something and then demand a vote without giving anyone a chance to actually see the proposed legislation? Yeah, that's not going to happen anymore.
And I also saw a story today, with only a link to a video report, that the money spent in Iraq would build 35,000 schools here in the United States.
