Have lots of popcorn on hand in the morning.

Aide: Prosecutors fired over priorities

Those priorities being, of course, Bush's plans.
I'm getting up early for this. Seriously. It's my day off and I'll be up at 7.

I just noticed this statement in the article:
Sen. John Cornyn (news, bio, voting record), R-Texas, offered Sampson some support, saying he had seen no evidence that the dismissals were "designed to impede or actually did impede a criminal investigation or prosecution."

Just curious. What about the investigations into Calif. legislator Jerry Lewis and Dusty Foggo? I haven't heard anything about it after Lam was ousted.

I can't remember who it was, but someone asked if Sampson knew the names Foggo and Wilkes. And he claimed he didn't. He spent a lot of the day saying "I don't remember." Gonzales, Rove, Miers and Goodling are in trouble with this testimony. AS much as he tried to cover, he was still forced to answer some stuff.
