Bush names diplomat, outflanking Senate
The Cobag in Chief has struck again. Withdrew the nomination becuase he knew there was no way in Hell he would get it approved in the Senate. Waited until the Senate was in recess and then, blam, appoints the guy.
This is completely in keeping with his petulant, childish behavior of yesterday.
