Florida governor wins voting rights for ex-felons

Florida is one of just three U.S. states, all in the Deep South, that have maintained long-standing constitutional barriers to restoring civil rights to those that have committed serious crimes, rights groups say.

Wow. News out of Florida is generally depressing and disheartening. This is possibly the most positive bit of news I've seen come out of Florida in months.

Gee you don't think those people would vote Democratic do you? Now if we could just get them to vote. Can only imagine what the Rethugs have up their sleeve to prevent them from voting.
