misc. funnies

So, my Mom says that I can make everything into a Democrat/Republican thing.
Sometimes she's right. I just bought myself a laptop. And what color did I buy? Blue! But blue really is my favorite color. Always has been.

I saw Transformers yesterday. Which I did enjoy. It's a good Summer popcorn movie. That's all I demand of movies in the Summer. They have to entertain me.
So here's where I make it a Democrat/Republic thing. The Autobots (the good guys) are Democrats and the Decepticons (the bad guys) are Republicans.
How do I know this? Well, the Autobots have blue eyes and the Decepticons have red.
See what I mean?

By the way, I do know I'm completely wrong. John Rogers tells me so.

Why, yes, I am easily amused. Why do you ask? ;-)

I do the same thing. Sometimes jokingly, sometimes not. Strange how this crew in power has changed people...

divided people...lied to people...stole from people...killed innocent people...

I saw License to Wed. I was bored.

Me too, Shayera! And also The Skimmer. Two examples from the last couple of days...

We were driving home from PA and there was a detour sign that said something like...

Blue Lanes Straight Ahead

Red Lanes Veer Right

Something like it. We whizzed by it so fast I didn't even know what that sign was trying to communicate. Anyway. Even though that was an OBVIOUS one, of course I made the connection!

Also, The Skimmer was trying to veer on to the highway and this gigantically HUGE SUV wouldn't let him on even though the left hand lane was open and he easily could've moved over for us. The Skimmer and I both said, almost at the same time -- "Republican."

:)

BG, I always call people who tick me off Republicans too!
AG, I've seen 4 movies in the last week, SICKO, Fantasic Four (awful!), Transformers and Knocked Up (funny, but not great). Thanks for the info on License to Wed. I'll wait until it shows up on cable.
And they keep getting away with it, Chuck.
