Excuse me? What "sovereignty"?

China vows to hold onto Tibet

Dear China,
You walked into an unarmed country with an army. That doesn't give you sovereignty. That just makes you an invading force.

I don't think China is listening. This is why I want the US to pull out of the summer olympics.

I want a free Tibet as much as the next person and condemn what China is doing.

But really, what moral leg does the U.S. have to stand on after invading Iraq and Afghanistan causing the death and displacement of millions?

China is now saying they can water torture 'cause the U.S. does it too.

Maybe we should boycott ourselves while we are at it.

We are no better than China.

This is the damage and disgrace Bush/Cheney has wrought onto America.

We kidnap, render, and torture people and detain them indeffinately in Gitmo. We violate the Geneva Conventions and have suspended one of the oldest laws, habeas corpus.

We seriously need to clean up our backyard before we complain about our neighbor's.
