That's my birthday cake from back in January. My sister in law made it for me. Could there ever be a more fitting cake? ::grin::Anyway, this post isn't about me. This post is about my two most favorite Congressional candidates.
Darcy Burner for Congress

Ron Shepston for Congress
I know I've told you about them before. But I had the opportunity to meet them both yesterday. I've met Darcy Burner once before. She and I shared a ride to O'Hare after Yearly Kos last August. And when we met yesterday, she remembered me. And she remembered our conversation. 8 months later. She's smart and dedicated. You really do want her to be in Congress. She's one of the best.
Ron's a friend from Daily Kos. He's running in the the California 42nd. The seat currently being held by Gary Miller. Ron will be better. It's his birthday today. So go send him some birthday cheer.
