More White House bullshit

White House challenges release of visitor logs

You all know I'm a "public servant" ::insert eyeroll::. Everything we do is open to public scrutiny. I have people yelling at me for driving a "city vehicle." Except the only vehicle I ever drive is my own personal one, paid for by myself. It's not owned by the City. I have people stopping me int he grocery store and telling me that they have books they need from the library. Except it's 8:30 at night and I'm on my own time. And then, of course, there's my all time favorite: "I pay taxes, I pay your salary." Um, no you don't. And, by the way, I pay my taxes too. (I can't tell you how close to telling anyone who says that to Fuck off so hard!)
All that brings me back to the story above. Our legislators, including the President, are civil servants. They don't have the right to declare that we the public don't have a right to know what they're up to.

Our school superintendent once replied "Yes, your taxes do pay for part of my salary, would you like your penny back?" I loved it!

I wish I had the nerve to do that! That's awesome.

Typical: Erode his power.

It's King George!

Oh, but you better meet the rules that require you release what I borrowed this month under the Crap-riot Act!

I'd never tell what anyone checked out. Seriously. I'd get the city attorneys involved the second "Homeland Security" showed up with a warrant.
