California firefighters battling blazes before heatwave
California has not had any respite this year. Between the fires last October and these now, it's truly awful. The fire fighters have not had a break at all.
And as Robert points out in The Collapse of Federal Firefighting Bush and his cronies have done a great job of absolutely gutting their resources.
