Vatican defends Brazil excommunication
There is no defending this situation. How on earth can anyone claim that a NINE year old child who has been RAPED and ABUSED should be forced to have the babies conceived through RAPE? I really can't begin to bend my mind around this. This is a 4th grader. She should be concentrating on school and her friends. Not being forced to contemplate pregnancy. And being abused for THREE years. The Catholic Church's stance on this is horrifying. Cruel. Misogynistic. Abusive. Horrendous.
