Sigh.
So... The Cardinal is just making excuses. 'Cause if he actually ever gave an actual damn at all about the victims of abuse, no matter what, he would have done something to stop it. Not move the abusers around and hide their crimes.
And now, he makes excuses instead of being sincerely sorry.
I have to believe, that when he meets the maker he believes in so strongly, his maker is going to send him straight to Hell. Since he sentenced so many helpless victims to hell here on earth.
