Are you serious? Stewart's criticism has been absolutely spot on. Zucker has a tool like Santelli running loose on one of his networks abusing homeowners in distress and supporting the insane bonuses the AIG guys got. Zucker has Cramer on, who has given bad advice over and over again. But it's Stewart who's in the wrong. Riiiiiiiiiight. Good one there Mr. Zucker. No wonder your network is in 4th place, if that's the kind of analysis you bring to the world.

Listen, I don't really know or care about the "well, it's in a contract, we had to pay up" about the bonuses. What I do know is that the people who got those insane bonuses KNEW exactly what kind of a situation the company was in when they got the bonuses. The bonuses were paid, what, last week? So it's not like they hadn't been aware of the insanely bad situation AIG was in. And yet they all happily took their cash. 11 of them even took the cash and ran. I'm thinking that's pretty assholeish behavior.

I feel like I keep saying this. I can't believe how busy life has been lately. I find myself falling behind in everything. I'll occasionally look up and notice that I've got deadlines ahead.
Hopefully life will settle in a couple weeks.
