Really? What's that" Co-equal branches of government?
While I applaud the sudden interest in asserting some oversight on Specter's part, I would remind him that he and his Republican colleagues spent the last six years laying down and allowing Bush to walk all over them.

The rethugs are trying to reposition themselves for the 08 elections. Don't buy it. They goose stepped with Shrub for the last six years.
Specter makes me sick. He really is nothing but a pandering baby. When he had an opportunity to actually make a difference, he didn't do a thing. Now, he's Mr. Big Talk.
All the Repubs that are up for re-election in 08 are scared to death. They have to know they'll be right out the door.
