The Progressive Case for a Libby Pardon
Why is this so hard for these beltway insiders to understand?
Libby was convicted of a crime. He was convicted for lying to a grand jury, thereby preventing them from learning the truth in the matter they were investigating.
He helped to out a CIA spy. Someone working on counter proliferation issues. You know, trying to prevent the bad guys from getting nukes. Her cover and the cover of her team were destroyed.
Libby needs to go directly to jail.
I'm very happy that Judge Walton, a Bush appointee, does not seem to be being swayed by all the hot air being wafted his way.

Are you surprised with the Decider' at the helm?
I've completely removed "surprise" from my emotional pantheon during this administration. At best, these things get an "eh" from me.
