Save the LA Public Library
As always, I speak only for myself. I do not represent my employee on this blog. It is my personal blog with my personal choices reflected there upon.
The City of Los Angeles is facing huge monetary shortfalls. Everybody is. But this obviously is personal for me. If you can contribute in anyway, I would be most grateful.

I'll see what I can do. I like what Seattle does by closing for one week in the summer and one in the winter. They appear to save quite a bit.
Thank you AG! But only only only if you can.
Seattle's an interesting model.
We're going to wait to see what's announced once the Mayor presents his budget.
But it's scary.
Out small city library closes on Sundays during the summer months. They also have benefit dinners during the fall. This seems to keep things going and they always seem to need assistants (well paid I might add). They always have plenty of unpaid volunteers.
