McCain chooses Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin for V.P.
Or as I'm going to call her, the Dan Quayle for the days. Come on. She's got her own legal troubles! Does McCain really think that she's going to shore up anything? I'm really going to hope that voters aren't as stupid as McCain thinks they are.
And oh hey, what happened to the experience McCain claimed was so important?
Palin is a one term Alaska Governor. She's got no credentials.

I was convinced that McCain was going to chose Romney. But, given McCain's ego, perhaps he was looking for a VP nominee that would not even come close to overshadowing him? I do like Sarah Palin, and you've got to admit she was a real surprise! And, a woman -- love that...
If this is some attempt to attract Hillary supporters you only need to remember that Palin stands for everything Hillary does not. In fact in spite of what she said in her acceptance speech Palin detests the Clintons. Keep that in mind when you go to vote ladies.
Although I have some respect for Palin, she's waaay too politically conservative for me to ever consider voting for. (I'm hardcore Obama, actually.) I think, though, that in November, more women than I care to even think about really will vote McCain merely because of Palin (and the fact that she's female). That's looney, but they seriously will on that alone, some (but not all) of them. Don't know if Palin's choosing was deliberate strategy re: Hillary supporters. But, its interesting, that's for sure.
