McCain backer Lieberman keeps committee chair
What a disgrace. There really is no excuse for allowing Lieberman to keep the gavel on a committee that is supposed to do oversight on the President's actions. For one thing, he didn't do a bit of good in oversight on Bush. And no matter what he says today, he's still the guy who actively worked to defeat Obama. Not passive, he was full bore out on the stump.
Apparently the damn Senate is the "most exclusive club" in the world.
What a disgrace.
Apparently in the Senate, actions do not have consequences.
