Swine flu spreads in 10 US states, Europe
Here's the thing. The swine flu is actually dangerous. But. according to the CDC, one person has died of the illness in the United States. The CDC reports that approximately 36,000 people die of influenza every year.
There are sensible precautions we can all take to safeguard ourselves. Wash your hands carefully. Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Stay home or see a doctor if you're feeling unwell.
What we don't need is a bunch of people (media ESPECIALLY) going off half cocked with misleading information.
